Delete your account
You can delete your Hitaround account yourself — right here if you are signed in, or from inside the app. If you have neither, write to us and we will do it.

If you are signed in on this site, you can do it now. If you are not, it asks you to sign in first. What goes and what stays is explained below — read it first, this cannot be undone.

From the app
Open Hitaround, then:
- Go to Profile.
- Scroll to the bottom, under your email address.
- Tap “Delete your account”, then confirm.
By email
Write to us from the email address you signed in with, and ask us to delete the account. We use that address to confirm it is yours — it is the only way we can tell.

What gets deleted
Everything you told us about yourself:
- Your name, your photo, your email address and the text about you.
- Your level and rating, the areas and courts you play at, and your availability.
- Your signed-in devices, so you are signed out everywhere and no notifications follow you.
- Your photo goes from our storage immediately. Its web address can still serve the old copy from the content network for up to 4 hours — the address is random, and nothing points at it any more.
What stays, and why
Conversations you had with other people stay with them. A conversation needs two sides, and deleting one side’s copy would take away the other person’s only record of what you agreed — including guests who have no account at all. Your side of those conversations no longer carries your name: it reads “deleted player”.
Games you had open are cancelled, since nobody is hosting them any more — everyone who had joined is told, and their page says the game is off. There is no way to undo the deletion, and signing up again with the same email gives you a new, empty account.
