Delete your account
You can delete your Hitaround account yourself, from inside the app. If you have already removed the app, write to us and we will do it.
From the app
Open Hitaround, then:
- Go to Profile.
- Scroll to the bottom, under your email address.
- Tap “Delete account”, then confirm.
By email
Write to us from the email address you signed in with, and ask us to delete the account. We use that address to confirm it is yours — it is the only way we can tell.
What gets deleted
Everything:
- Your profile, your photo and your email address.
- The games you created and the responses to them.
- The requests you sent and received, and every message in those conversations.
- Any reports you sent, and your signed-in devices.
What this means for other people
A conversation needs two sides. When your account goes, so does the other person’s copy of your conversation — they will not see it any more. There is no way to undo the deletion, and signing up again with the same email gives you a new, empty account.
